CHENGDU, CHINA—Accompanied by several other prominent officials interested in the province’s partnership with AllTech Medical Systems, Sichuan’s Vice Governor Chen Wenhua paid a visit on July 20 to the company’s manufacturing base. Led by Vice Governor Chen, the group also included He Lvzhang, Deputy Secretary-General of Sichuan Province government; Chen Yong, Deputy Director of Sichuan’s Food and Drug Administration; and Cao Li, Director of the Medical Instruments Department. AMS President Ms. Cindy Jin met Vice Governor Chen and his group, together with AllTech CTO Dr. Hans Van Oort; Dr. Larry Kasuboski, MR clinical scientist; John Duraj, senior clinical specialist; as well as Kenneth Holbein, systems technical expert.
Ms. Jin updated Vice Governor Chen on the milestone achievements AllTech has made in product R&D, authentication registration, manufacturing and marketing over the past six years. Thanks to the support of Sichuan’s Food and Drug Administration and other governmental organizations, Ms. Jin said AllTech prevailed over the negative impacts of the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake and the US financial crisis to ultimately achieve several successes in product development.
Furthermore, AllTech made a breakthrough in several core technologies of superconducting MRI systems, including large-aperture magnets, multi-channel spectrometer systems, and RF coils. These landmarks allowed AllTech to successfully develop China's premier 1.5T superconducting MRI machine while establishing independent intellectual property rights, as well as to pass certification by China’s SFDA, the US FDA and the European CE.
In response to this information, Vice Governor Chen recognized AllTech’s exceptional achievements and advocated that its management team continue upgrading product performance while lowering the cost, so as to ease the burden on hospitals that are purchasing, using and maintaining these systems.
In this way, the ongoing alliance between AllTech and the Sichuan government will benefit the most patients, making a greater contribution to the continuous development of Sichuan's medical and health system.
